Last month, the SPE Gulf Coast Section’s Annual Executive Breakfast was held at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston, TX.
EKT Interactive President Marty Stetzer was able to attend this exclusive meeting of oil and gas executives.
Past, Present, and Future of the SPE
This year’s event centered around a panel of past, current, and future Presidents of the SPE GCS.
When I asked him what stood out in his mind most about the event, without hesitation he told me about the career-long dedication to involvement in the SPE on behalf of the panel.
A Career-Long Dedication to Volunteering
For example, former SPE President Ganish Thakur spoke of his involvement in the organization dating back to his days at Penn State.
The panels slide presentations have been posted on the event page, and I have also included the links here for your convenience. They are worth taking a look at as they discuss timely topics such as the challenges oil prices are posing to the industry, the future of Mexico, as well as how volunteering in the SPE has affected the careers of these industry leaders.
