About the Experts
Trond Ellefsen
Currently CEO and President of INVATARE LLC, in Houston…His organization connects the O&G sector using a blend of 23 of the brightest minds and cutting edge cognitive technology to make the industry work better. INVATARE is bringing the holistic integrated value chain to O&G as a self-learning and continuously improving connected ecosystem for safer and more intelligent operation.

Prior to Invatare, Trond spent 10 years with Statoil in a variety of senior executive roles such as CIO for Statoil North America and IT digital transformation and strategy. Trond served in similar global roles at Norsk Hydro for 17 years.
Trond is currently Advisory Board Member at the Rice University Brown School of Engineering – Engineering Professional Master’s Program. He was the chairman of the SPE Gulf Coast Section DETS Cybersecurity Subcommittee for two years.
Marty Stetzer

In parallel with a 25-year career oil and gas career, Marty has spent 15 years providing custom “blended and e-learning” training programs to a variety of technical audiences.
He has global upstream and downstream operations management experience with Schlumberger, Superior Oil-Mobil, Wilson Industries and Exxon, and led the downstream supply chain practice at PwC.
He brings 18 years management experience with Schlumberger, Superior Oil-Mobile, Wilson Industries and Exxon.
Marty has worked with numerous national and international oil and gas company managements to help improve business performance across upstream, midstream and downstream operations.
Like many of the team, Marty is active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers and often presents at industry forums.
