When grinding away on your computer all week, it’s nice to get a reminder that your work is impacting other people’s lives in positive ways.
This week I got a great note from one of our Oil 101 members that I would like to share:
I would like to thank you for a brilliant interactive 101 materials.
I did use it to prepare for the recruitment process in Royal Dutch Shell, and I managed to take a new role in a new oil and gas industry:)
Now, this person is certainly qualified for many jobs. But he was switching industries, so it’s nice to think we were able to lend a hand that might have given a slight advantage over the other candidates.
