Gasoline prices went on a tear, much like everything else, when Russia invaded Ukraine in February, but they have since retraced back to those February levels.
Gasoline prices have proven highly elastic relative to that in other sectors. Working from home, cancelling that road trip, when prices at the pump get too high there are alternatives for some.
